LAXX is an Oxford based producer that has been on our radar for a while now. Ever since his “The LAXX EP” on Walsh’s Biscuit Factory Records landed in the office, we knew it whould eventually come to this. And we’re proud to say that it has… With this impressive EP!
The title track “You Turn Me” is one that needs to be blasted at full volume… This track is unlike anything we ever encountered… It’s smooth… yet heavy… Soulfull but at the same time bursting at the seams with energy… It’s hard to explain so just turn it up and experience it for yourself.
The EP continues with “System Meltdown” where things get a bit more vibeing. The up tempo festival-esque feel of this track will make it hard for you to stand still. And with that catchy melody on top it’ll just become down right impossible.
For track no 3 we have “Generate” which just pure dance floor sounds. It switches from halfstep to double time like it’s nothing while still keeping the it on point and serious. A perfect Subway fit!
